Yesterday’s Nisei show was my first “real” show ever. It definitely changes up the experience. For one, I got to meet SO many new people and even a few “higher-ups”
I’d like to think that there was a generally positive reception of my car, most likely due to the wheel fitment so I am happy about that.
A couple things though… I don’t enjoy being judged. The judges for my car made a few unnecessary comments. Also, some older Filipino auntie tried to sit in my car and so some model poses. She actually opened my car door like it was the fucking LA Auto Show or something. Not sure what she was thinking… needless to say, I let her have it…

Perhaps a sign saying “do not touch” should be in order for future shows. Should of saw the kids at British Motorshow last year jumping in and out of a brand new s2k like it was a ball pool or something!
