I went and watched Juno on Saturday with a few friends. I’m not sure why, but it’s movies like this that really hold a spot in my heart. Anyone who knows me well, will say that my favorite movie ever is Garden State; which it is. I’ve seen it over ten times…

I think the reason why I enjoyed this movie so much is because the main character, Juno MacGuff (Ellen Page) is so charming and lovely. Seriously, I am in love with her. After you quickly start to grasp her personality (using humor to deal with the situation), you just want to give her a big hug.

It received a well deserved 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, including 100% from the “Cream of the Crop”.

The movie hits well on all accords. It is modern and funny, yet sad at times. You can tell that there is great chemistry between the actors and this is proof once again that a film does not need a huge budget to be great.

Hope you enjoy it. I’m off to watch it again now.
