I’m sure that by now, most of you have seen at least one picture of this GS400. This car belongs to “Bippu Pxrlex” of VSC as well as some other forums… it’s been talked about a lot. People either love it or they don’t. I don’t understand why some users have to post hateful comments towards the owner of the car (you can hate the car all you want), but I’ll save that rant for another day.
Here is some number fun: 19×11.5 -51, 19×9.5 -19 with -15 camber in the rear using modified Ikeya formula camber arms.
First off, I want to congratulate the owner on achieving his goal of the "OMFG look". Being a prominent car in the show scene, it's important to make noticeable changes often as well as stand out from the crowd. At any given car show, 90% of the cars are magazine worthy, so something as attention grabbing as ultimate wheel fitment will separate it from the rest - for better or for worse.
Personally though, I'm not a fan, but then again I'm not a fan of many things. I think with a different kit or different wheel style (with the same specs), it might look better. That's not to take anything away from the wheel fitment though. People who have done it (or attempted it) can appreciate the work that goes into it. I followed the build up thread where other VIP car owners said their word. To each their own on opinion, but as car enthusiasts, I think we can all recognize the effort.
