I’ve literally been inundated this past week with errands, work, school, and other stuff so there is your explanation for the lack of updates…

On thursday, some of us from AS1 met up to shoot the shit and I guess while they did that, I got to shoot the cars. Kind of annoying that I didn’t have my strobes with me, but I made do.
Brian’s car… I think it speaks for itself so I will let it do that.

Here’s Joseph’s car – I don’t think it’s been posted much online. It’s fresh out of the paint booth and is dropped on SSR MKIII’s. Riding in it was an adventure though. Seeing Norman bouncing around in the back seat made my night. I think he bumped his head a few times and got temporary brain damage.

Here’s a quick update on my car…
I had a differential issue that is close to being resolved. Car passed smog with flying colors so I pretty much have it back on the road. Got new wheels too… stuffed some nice meaty Yokohama Parada Spec 2’s under there and there’s absolutely ZERO rub. That really made my night since the wheel fitment stuff never goes right for me. Paint… well I simply haven’t decided on a color yet. I don’t want to get one that I’ll regret later.

Okay, I know this really only pertains to my readers in southern California, but one of my favorite roads, – Angeles Crest highway, which had been a dead end up until today, has reopened… not that it ever really “closed” but we can now enjoy the full experience.

The LA Times has an excellent article on this.

For those of you who don’t know, ACH is quite literally one of the greatest driving roads in the United States, spanning 66 miles of back and forth twisties and unmatched scenery.

I have so many good and bad memories up there, it would give me enough content to last a year, but instead, I’ll leave you with some pictures.

Be safe.

I think many of you guys know him personally since he was pretty well known in the import community. Armando Flores Jr. (Coke In A Can) passed away last night in a motorcycle accident.

I’m at a loss for words right now. RIP man. He was a great, laid back, very friendly person.

I had my Gulf Stich’s fully polished to a mirror finish and sold them to Shotgun2224.

I am going to be at the Hella Flush meet at the Beach on Saturday shooting cars before & after. Check it out if this stuff is your cup of tea.

Sunday is the big one of course. People are flying in from all over the country as well as making cross-country road trips just for the annual Eibach meetup – the largest annual Honda meet in the world (although I have to say that those Burbank Empire Center Krispy Kreme meets rivaled it as far as Honda turnouts are concerned).

I would post up a Flyer but I guess nobody bothered to make one this year. Not that it matters anyways… it gets packed instantly. It’s probably going to be insanely hot too so it would be a good idea to check out all the cars in the morning and then find shade asap. Still unsure as to whether or not I will cover the meet. Hard to get good photos with people walking around everywhere.
